Licensure to join their successful Team!What you'll be doingAs the
Civil Project Engineer, you will work closely with other registered
engineers & architects as well as engineering cell colleagues on a
diverse portfolio of projects that span the globe. You will be
involved in all aspects of the day-to day project management and
design of our multi-discipline, engineering projects from the
initial planning through construction phase.Practically speaking
you will:Manage and assist with production work on all phases of
projects including schematic design, design development, and
construction documents including design review, coordination and
correlation of construction drawings, and specifications.Engage
with clients regarding project requirements, concept and design
development, and design presentations.Provide project team
coordination for incorporating design intent into the construction
documentation, specifications, and during construction
administration.Develop design documents and calculations as
appropriate for civil engineering related projects.Assist other
Project Managers, Sr. Engineers or Architects with projects,
calculations, drawings as needed.Create CAD drawings consistent
with client requirements for format, standard, quality and
timeliness.Conduct research and investigation on appropriate
technical reference data pertinent to a project.Produce final hard
copy and digital documents suitable for submission to clients
consistent with contract requirements, schedule and budget.Develop
design documents including site, building, parking & road layout,
site grading, drainage, utilities, erosion & sediment control,
preparation of detailed construction plans, specifications and
contract documents.Use software to be included, but not limited to
AutoDesk products such as Auto CAD; Civil 3D; Revit; and standard
office software such as Microsoft Office, MS Word, MS Power Point,
MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Project, etc.Participate in site visits
and conduct field measurements to validate existing site and
as-built conditions.Meet w/contractors, as needed, for construction
administration and design clarifications. Maintaining project
document files, including deliverable packages, meeting notes, and
client correspondence.Resolve complex technical/design issues and
provides guidance to project team.Prepare and ensure accuracy of
technical documents through participation in Quality Assurance
reviews at each phase of the project.The DetailsThis is a full-time
permanent position based in Hickory, North Carolina - USA which is
between Charlotte and Winston-Salem, NC.The client offers a hybrid
work schedule to work remotely 3 days a week and 2 days in the
office. The client would expect the candidate to work in the office
the first month to get familiar with the company, their projects,
subcontractors, etc.There is some travel only for a day or 2 (10%
-15%). They use a local rental company for vehicle travel. The
client covers the travel expenses for their employees.In addition

will bring:Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from ABET
accredited program or related field of studyLicensed as a
Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within 6 months of
hire8 years minimum experience with focus on infrastructure &
development projects and engineering project deliveryExperience
with engineering design using computer-based drafting, design and
modeling applications (i.e., Civil 3D, HydroCAD, HEC RAS,
MicroStation, etc.)Must have valid driver's license with ability to
operate a motor vehicleAbility to travel 10% -15% and stay
overnight when requiredProject management and client services
experience (asset)Experience with Dod, USACE, VA, DOT, and/or
