Job Description:
JLL, a leading global real estate services firm, is seeking a
Sr. Electrical Building Engineer to join our Engineering &
Architecture department. This role focuses on ensuring the
operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability of electrical
systems within commercial properties managed by JLL. The ideal
candidate will be involved in the full spectrum of building
electrical engineering, from design and implementation to
maintenance and upgrade of electrical infrastructures. This
position requires a blend of technical expertise in electrical
engineering, a commitment to excellence, and a deep understanding
of building management systems. Design electrical systems and
circuits, as well as oversee the installation process. Monitor,
maintain, and optimize electrical systems to ensure they meet
current standards and efficiencies. Troubleshoot and resolve
complex electrical issues within building premises. Conduct regular
system audits and prepare detailed reports with improvement
recommendations. Collaborate with other engineers and project
managers to ensure the integration of electrical systems with other
building operations. Ensure compliance with local, state, and
federal regulations concerning building and electrical safety
codes. Manage and mentor junior electrical engineers and support
staff. Proficient in the use of design and diagnostic software like
AutoCAD, Revit, and other Electrical Diagnostic tools. Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent project management
abilities with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. Deep
familiarity with electrical systems, standards, and compliance
requirements. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
401k Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Certified Energy
Manager (CEM) is a plus. Membership in relevant professional bodies
such as IEEE.
