Job Description:

JLL is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Building Engineer to join our Engineering & Maintenance team, dedicated to ensuring the operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability of commercial properties. This role demands a deep understanding of mechanical systems within large facilities, alongside a commitment to excellence and proactive problem-solving. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic environment, applying their expertise to a range of mechanical tasks, from routine maintenance to complex system upgrades, ensuring alignment with JLL’s standards of property management. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Implement energy-saving measures and sustainability practices to enhance system performance and reduce operating costs. Collaborate with other engineering staff and departments to coordinate maintenance and project management. Ensure compliance with all safety and building codes, regulations, and corporate policies. Proficient in the use of HVAC design and diagnostic software Strong understanding of mechanical system operations and maintenance Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and teamwork abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified HVAC Technician LEED Certification (preferred) OSHA Safety Training Certification
