As a pivotal part of our dedicated fleet services team, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing diesel engines and vehicles to ensure peak operational efficiency and reliability. This position focuses on delivering high-quality technical services in line with Ryder’s commitment to innovation and efficiency, supporting businesses across various industries. Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including engine overhauls and diagnostics. Identify and resolve complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools and technical manuals. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations while maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Complete job reports and documentation accurately and timely. Stay updated with new technologies and practices in the automotive repair industry. In-depth knowledge of diesel engine components and systems. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k ASE Diesel Certification strongly preferred. Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus.
