Job Description:
We have a hospital in Hickory looking BC/BE infectious disease
physician to provide both inpatient and outpatient care. You will
will join another physician, 2 outpatient midlevels and 1 inpatient
midlevel. The Infectious Disease Physician will not only work in
the 258-bed hospital, but also with the inpatient infection
prevention program we offer, antimicrobial stewardship program, and
in the Clinic. This is a 5 days/week position with one weekend call
a month and every other week night call. We offer a Very
competitive salary and excellent benefits package, including
malpractice insurance, tail coverage, and a pension plan. Our
facility is located in the foothills of NC just 45 minutes NW of
Charlotte, an hour east of Asheville, and 4 hours from the beach.
The area has much to offer in the way of outdoor activities such as
hiking and biking, and beautiful lakes.
