• Transition from ICU
• Pulmonary care (ventilator management and weaning)
• Complex wound care
• Renal disease and dialysis
• Radiation therapy
• Infection prevention and IV antibiotic therapy
• Pain managementPlan and implement care for patients in accordance with the medical and nursing plans of care and established policies and procedures. Provide nursing services to patients and families, in accordance with scope of practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) as defined by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. Provides leadership to supervised personnel, which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients.-Qualification and Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Effective 3/1/18 Bachelor of Science in Nursing OR enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program within 6 months AND obtain a BSN within 4 years of hire date into RN position. Previous signed BSN commitment letter OR grandfathering will be accepted between departments and Mission Health entities. -Current license as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina, or an associated compact state. Current BLS: Red Cross or American Heart and ACLS (American Heart Association) within 6 months of hire.-Experience: 1-2 years of hospital experienceWe are committed to providing our employees with the support they need.
