Overview This position is eligible for an extra $5/hr float pool premium once orientation has been completed in addition to shift differentials.-

• Blue Ridge Regional Hospital (BRRH) is located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Spruce Pine, North Carolina.
• The hospital is a Critical Access hospital that features 25 patient beds and an emergency department with 12 beds.
• The hospital is designated as a Pathway to Excellence hospital.-
• Registered Nurses at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital will have the opportunity to work with Med/Surg, PCU and CCU patients on this acuity adjusted this unit.All our nursing teams provide quality, compassionate care to a range of patient populations from birth to geriatric.-Registered Nurses in the float pool will float between McDowell Hospital in Marion, NC to Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine.-Role Summary: Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions.-Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Effective 3/1/18 Bachelor of Science in Nursing OR enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program within 6 months AND obtain a BSN within 4 years of hire date into RN position. Previous signed BSN commitment letter OR grandfathering will be accepted between departments and Mission Health entities.
