As a(an) Acute Care Clinical Nurse Coordinator you can be a part of change. This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of $15,000 with a 2-year commitment to Mission Health on offers accepted before 12/31/22. Sign-on bonus will be paid out in your first paycheck! Current HCA employees and those employed by HCA anytime in the last 1 year are not eligible to receive the sign on bonus. Job Summary and Qualifications The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
  What qualifications you will need:
  • Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Effective 6/24/2021 (NC Division): Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program and obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position. Grandfathering will be accepted between departments and Mission Health entities. Exemptions, or extensions, may be approved by the facility CNO and reported out to the CNO Council members. Each facility will ensure tracking of exemptions should this information be needed. RNs with 10 years or more of experience are exempt.
  • Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Nursing.
  • Required Experience: 1+ Years applicable experience.This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
