Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year License: Active RN license Certifications: AHA ACLS BLS NIHSS Must-Have: Active RN License Required Certifications Description: Must have active AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications. Must have an active RN license. Floating policy is in place for contracted staff. Staff may float to other units and/or campuses due to census concerns. Staff will only float to units for which they are qualified and have demonstrated competencies. Travelers must complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving login information. Travelers are eligible for reimbursement for hours spent completing modules (up to 16 hours). Experience with electronic medical record systems required for at least one year. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. Approval for time off will be based on facility needs. Module hours are billable, and time is verified upon start of the contract. Modules must be completed annually and recorded in transcripts. Staff should report any issues to the appropriate contact.
