Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/01/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery/n/n Location/n Not specified /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Night shift - 4x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) /n/nJob Description/n The Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery unit will provide care to expectant mothers and newborns in a low to moderate volume L&D department. This position requires strong experience and the ability to work autonomously in a small department that has a higher acuity of cases. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and their babies in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) setting. /n - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patient conditions. /n - Assist with special procedures and provide support during labor and delivery. /n - Collaborate with healthcare teams and provide education to patients and families. /n - Float to MedSurg, CNA, secretary, and/or help as needed. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing. /n - Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN (Intermediate or Advanced), BLS, FHM, NRP.
