Job Description:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and
Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications:
ACLS, NRP, AWHONN, BLS Must-Have: Fetal Heart Monitoring experience
Strong experience in LDRP Unit Description: The unit has a 1:1-2
patient ratio during shifts. Candidates will assist both mother and
baby in a Labor and Delivery Unit. The department had around 100
births in the previous year, indicating lower volume. However, the
unit experiences higher acuity and high-risk cases. Strong
experience is necessary due to the autonomy required for the small
department. Candidates may be required to float to MedSurg or
assist with other tasks as needed. Weekend work will be determined
by departmental needs. Candidates must be comfortable floating with
no restrictions.
