TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified MICU RN in Hickory, North Carolina, 28601! Pay Information $1,942 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Critical Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCRN preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: 1 year CVICU experience after orientation completion. Description: Orientation occurs twice monthly. The facility features multiple specialized centers, including heart and lung centers, surgical services, and a neonatal intensive care unit. There are 32 beds in the emergency department, 29 inpatient rehabilitation beds, and a 15-bed surgical suite. The critical care unit has 8 beds with a standard patient ratio of 2:1, occasionally 1:1. Equipment utilized includes Impella, IABP, and CRRT. The electronic health record system used is Cerner. Patient population includes adults and geriatric patients. Common diagnoses and treatments in the unit include CABG, TAVR, STEMI, and carotid procedures. The role requires strong critical thinking skills. An Associate Nursing Degree is required. Scrub colors are professional but any color is acceptable.
