on campus How you will contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who
excels in this role: - Accurately performs patient assessments and
identifies patient needs - Identifies and initiates appropriate
nursing interventions - Provides care appropriate to condition and
age of the patient - Performs timely and appropriate documentation
relating to medical necessity in the medical record - Responsible
for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for
each patient - Performs timely and accurate QI assessments -
POSITION SUMMARY: Directs the department's activities and resources
to achieve departmental and organizational objectives. ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS: To perform this job, an individual must perform each
essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable
accommodation. Develops and implements departmental goals, plans,
and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal,
and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization. Directs
and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care
delivery, information technologies, service level determination,
and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality
control objectives. Plans and monitors staffing activities,
including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and
continuing education initiatives. Prepares, monitors, and evaluates
departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in
compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs
internal/external audits. Creates and fosters an environment that
encourages professional growth. Integrates evidence-based practices
into operations and clinical protocols. Regular and reliable
attendance. Perform other duties as assigned. Additional

customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors. Access to
and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information.
Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and
compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies
and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and
Recommended Practices. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the
work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and
reviewing work, ensures quality stand-ards. Responsible for hiring,
terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and

Bachelors degree preferred but not required Additional requirements
include: - Basic Life Support certification is required within 30
days of hire. - ACLS and PALS are required within six months of
hire. - One year of experience preferred - ASLS certification
