Clinic Hours Monday-Friday 7am-5pm No weekends/No Major Holidays

(RN) who excels in this role: - Accurately performs patient
assessments and identifies patient needs - Identifies and initiates
appropriate nursing interventions - Provides care appropriate to
condition and age of the patient - Performs timely and appropriate
documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record -
Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary
Care Plan for each patient - Performs timely and accurate QI
assessments Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills,
decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take
appropriate action. Essential Functions Please note this job

required of the employee for this job. Primary responsibilities
include but are not limited to: - Complete accurate documentation
in patient records and charges. - Support clinic team to follow the
performance expectations for reaching the key performance
indicators (KPIs) for a sustainable program: market capture goals,
seeing four patients per hour, reaching 30% procedure ratio, and
completing time out and chart audits to monitor quality of care. -
Assist physician and APCs with patient treatments. - Offer support
to patient and monitor patient throughout clinical/procedure
visits. - Complete dressing changes, suture and staple removal,
pump refills, and pump reprogramming. - Effectively identify
potential risk events and provide intervention to assess and
mitigate risks. - Exhibit clinical judgement when making decisions
and take immediate action in serious/emergency situations. Document
situations and rationale for decision on appropriate forms, report
situation immediately to proper persons, and evaluate the results
of action taken. - Assess data reflective of the patient status and
interpret the appropriate information to identify each patient's
care requirements relative to their age-specific needs. - Review
and return clinical phone line messages regarding medication
refills, consulting physician and patient questions in a timely
manner, and appropriately document actions and follow up with staff
and providers as required. - Demonstrate thorough knowledge of
surgical procedures, infection and isolation control procedures and
aseptic technique. - Demonstrate an awareness of and understanding
of the surgical patient's needs for comfort, positioning and
safety, and follow through to provide these needs. - Use good body
mechanics in the performance of duties. - Utilize universal
precautions when providing care and use supplies appropriately and
avoids waste. - Correctly identify patient by name for any direct
care procedures and/or treatment and check identification of
patient by use of two patient identifiers. Always verify with the
patient the procedural laterality when appropriate. - Actively
participate in intradepartmental meetings and in-services and stay
informed of changes within department. - Demonstrate knowledge of
and adherence to department and management line of authority and
communication. - Adhere to scheduling guidelines and expectations
to reach pain management center patient per hour and referral
management goals. - Consistently demonstrate flexibility in
adapting to changes in workload and assignments. Regularly offer
assistance to others in order to complete workload. - Display
commitment to ongoing training and attend required educational
programs. - Maintain an awareness of new regulations and
legislation affecting the profession, health care and current
developments in the nursing field. - Demonstrate knowledge of
standards that reflect professional and JCAHO guidelines for care
and recognizes personal accountability for these guidelines. -
Treat everyone as a customer. - Adhere to attendance policy.
Non-Essential Functions 1. Position serves both internal co-workers
and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and
vendors. 2. Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or
confidential information. 3. Exhibit a comprehensive understanding
of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in
the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business
Office Standards and Recommended Practices. 4. Perform other duties
as assigned. What we are looking for Applicants should have a
current state RN license. Bachelors degree preferred but not
required Additional requirements include: · Basic Life Support
certification is required within 30 days of hire. · ACLS and PALS
are required within six months of hire. · Two years' experience as
a clinical nurse in a hospital environment, preferred experience in
critical care, surgery, or emergency department required EEOC
