Labor & Delivery RN with Mother/Baby Experience – North Carolina
Start Date: January 19, 2026 Location: Hickory, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule:
3x12-hour shifts, weekday nights 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other
weekend required. Option to flex to a 4th shift if needed; overtime
after 48 hours. Highlights: Labor & Delivery with Mother/Baby
cross-training in an 18-bed unit Manageable 1:2 nurse-to-patient
ratios on nights Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including
IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
24-hour orientation provided Local candidates welcome at the same
rate as travelers Flexibility to pick up additional shifts as
available Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN
experience Mother/Baby experience required Previous travel
experience preferred Valid RN license for North Carolina (must be
at least pending with clear ETA) Current certifications: BLS, ACLS
(via AHA), and NRP AWHONN certifications (Advanced or Intermediate)
preferred Experience with circulating for C-sections, triage of
obstetrical patients, and recognition/treatment of abnormal fetal
heart rate patterns Charting system experience required Current
