In this role: - You will practice at Taylorsville KidsCare in Taylorsville, Utah – just south of Salt Lake City as your primary clinic - You will see pediatric patients ages 0-18 in an Urgent Care setting - Your clinical time will be 6-hour or 12-hour shifts, days evenings, and may fall on a Sunday through Saturday (open 7 days a week) - Float shifts at nearby Intermountain KidsCare Clinics are expected from time to time; requires an occasional commute What you’ll bring: - MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine - Residency training in Pediatrics Required - Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline - Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one - Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one - Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process - The ability to efficiently utilize our electronic health record EPIC - Previous Experience in an urgent care /emergency department setting preferred How we support you: PRN Physicians will have medical malpractice/liability with tail coverage starting from your date of hire.
