Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Jefferson, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,086 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified OR RN in Jefferson, North Carolina, 28640! Job Opportunity – Operating Room Nurse – Jefferson Start Date: February 2, 2026 Location: Jefferson, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, with every other weekend and on-call coverage as needed (30-minute callback requirement) Highlights: Diverse case mix including general surgery, GYN/OB, orthopedics, ophthalmology, urology, and endoscopy procedures 1:1 patient ratio with a daily census of approximately 10 patients across 3 operating rooms 24-hour orientation with set scheduling; no routine floating required Meditech charting system and Omnicell medication management; scrubs provided Work with modern equipment including Stryker orthopedic systems, Olympus laparoscopic equipment, and Fuji endoscopy systems Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, radiology, and rapid response teams Requirements: Minimum 2 years of operating room nursing experience Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Active North Carolina or Compact RN license (must be in hand at start date) Experience with general OR settings including colonoscopy, EGD, laparoscopic-assisted cases, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, GYN procedures, orthopedic surgeries, and ophthalmology Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, conscious sedation monitoring, peripheral IV insertion, specimen handling, and PACU/recovery care Competency with electrosurgical units, fiber optic equipment, infection control, radiation safety, and universal protocol procedures Experience with Meditech charting system required Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple surgical specialties in a well-equipped ambulatory setting, providing comprehensive perioperative care for diverse patient populations ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
