qualified applicants Schedule: Self-scheduling with unit needs
consideration; 6 weekend shifts per scheduling period; 1:2
nurse-to-patient ratio in a 12-bed unit Highlights: Specialized
neuroscience intensive care unit caring for complex neurological
patients Advanced procedures including CRRT, bedside EVD
management, and arterial line monitoring Cerner EMR documentation
system; Baxter pump technology Care for post-thrombectomy, TPA, and
post-neurosurgery patients Floating primarily to other ICU settings
or step-down units as needed Supportive team environment with unit
secretaries and tech availability Requirements: Current RN license
in North Carolina or compact state eligibility ACLS and BLS
certifications required NIHSS certification required ICU experience
required; neurology ICU experience strongly preferred Advanced
skills in caring for neurology post-thrombectomy and TPA patients
Experience with post-neurosurgery patient care Navy blue scrubs
