Hematology/Oncology opening - Abingdon, VA Located 40m to KingsportH1 Eligible Position Details Full-time, permanent Employed Established, stable group. Join a wonderful medical community with supportive administration. Radiation Oncology onsite with TruBeam & SBRT capabilities. There is an active navigation program, American Cancer Society Resource Room and partnership with non-profits such as Susan G. Komen, Cancer Outreach etc. A robust and aligned local medical community support this service and many of the providers are aligned with main Medical Group Opportunities to work with Residents from their FM/IM Training Programs Support Physician will join 2 additional Hem/Onc Physicians and 3 APPs. The APPs manage infusion services and see acute & symptomatic patients and work under the direct supervision of the physician group. There is a large, diverse support staff of APPs, RNs, dietary, navigators, schedulers, pre-cert and financial team. Practice includes a full-service infusion room and a typical out-patient oncology practice. Pharmacy is managed by hospital-based team, which includes an oncology boarded pharmacist on staff. Support from specialists to include Rad Onc, Surgery, Pulm, GI, Urology, OB/GYN, Pathology, Radiology (including IR).
