Job Description:
This regional medical center, located 1 hour from Asheville and
1 hour 15 minutes to Charlotte, is seeking a board certified/board
eligible Hematology/Oncology physician. Opportunity Overview: 98%
Outpatient practice 1:3 Call; Hospitalists facilitate admissions
All calls are first routed through 24/7 oncology nurse s line Never
called into hospital 8a-5p Monday-Thursday, 1/2-day Friday (8a-12p)
Caseload 13-15 Patients/day 2 PA s on Staff 2 Radiation Oncologists
2 new linear accelerators 24 infusion chairs Patient navigators &
cancer support groups Opportunity for tumor board and cancer
committee engagement Network with nationally renowned cancer
specialists on complex cases Option for clinical trials Precepting
residents available Diagnostics Include: X-ray, CT Ultrasound
Mammography Bone Density Nuclear Mobile PET & Mamo MRI & Breast MRI
