Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A healthcare
organization is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to
provide specialized care across multiple settings, focusing
primarily on K-12 school environments. This position offers a
contract opportunity for the school calendar year, from January 20,
2026, to May 29, 2026. The role is based in Hendersonville, NC,
with services extending to PreK-12th grades in Asheville, NC. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to students
in a school setting, ensuring individualized support for
developmental and functional needs. Collaborate with educators,
healthcare providers, and families to develop and implement
effective treatment plans. Provide therapy via home health and
teletherapy formats as needed, adapting interventions to meet each
students unique circumstances. Monitor and document student
progress consistently, maintaining compliance with regulatory and
educational standards. Participate in meetings and
multidisciplinary teams to support student goals and educational
outcomes. Desired Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist
(OT) with relevant state certification. Experience providing OT
services in school, home health, healthcare, and teletherapy
settings. Ability to work effectively with PreK through 12th-grade
students. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work
with diverse teams. Flexibility to cover a 37.5-hour workweek
during the contract period. Location: Primary location in
Hendersonville, NC, with service requirements extending to
