Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,828 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Asheville, North Carolina, 28801! Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12:45 PM - 1:15 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC (within 90 days of hire) Must-Have: - 2 years experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume emergency department. - Previous experience in healthcare preferred. - At least 1 year experience in emergency setting. - Teamwork mentality. - Ability to coach and provide feedback in real time. - Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department. Description: The Emergency Department is seeking experienced registered nurses. The department has 101 beds with patient ratios typically being 4:1, and up to 7:1 on behavioral holds. Techs are available and work in various areas including cardiac monitoring and triage. The unit utilizes Baxter pumps and GE monitors for patient care. Documentation is conducted through a computerized system. Scheduling requires every other weekend availability, with flexibility to meet department needs. Floating is limited to sections within the emergency department only. Patient experience is a priority, with requirements for respectful behavior and communication. Certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS are required prior to starting. ENPC certification is necessary within 90 days of hire. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years nursing experience, with a focus on teamwork and serving a diverse community.
