Required Skills: Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology Valid Virginia State Medical License DEA Certification for Virginia BLS Certification Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in hematology and oncology Proficiency in Epic/Beacon EMR systems Ability to manage solid tumors, malignant hematologic conditions, and common anemias Nice to Have Skills: Experience with supportive care and palliative treatment Familiarity with outpatient infusion protocols Multidisciplinary team collaboration skills Prior experience with high patient volumes (13-15 patients per day) Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution At least 2 years practicing in a clinical hematology/oncology setting Proven track record of effective patient management and care coordination Other Requirements: Virginia medical license and DEA registration Compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations Availability for scheduled clinic hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Support staff includes APPs, oncology RNs, infusion nurses, clinical pharmacists, and other allied health professionals Supportive environment with comprehensive EMR documentation This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $507.00, with weekly pay via direct deposit, and includes benefits such as comprehensive medical coverage, paid sick leave, licensure, certification, travel reimbursements when applicable, and a rewarding work environment.
