Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work night shifts in Long-Term Acute Care Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit • Patient ratio of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends • 12-hour orientation provided • Must pass arrhythmia and medication test on first day of orientation • One chance to pass required Pass/Fail testing for Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale • 2 years of experience preferred; will consider 1 year on case-by-case basis • Must have skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias • Experience with ventilation modes required (CV, CMV, A/C, SIMV, PS, PC, IRV /- PEEP) • Vent training for home and weaning from mechanical ventilation experience needed • Float to lower level of care within skillset based on critical staffing needs • Weekend coverage required as needed • On-call requirement: 2 on-call shifts OR 2 additional shifts per 6 weeks • Must complete compliance documents 5 business days prior to start date • Shaving may be required to pass fit test onsite • Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including acute respiratory failure, sepsis, pneumonia, heart failure, and post-COVID conditions • Work with special equipment including mechanical ventilation, dialysis, and Vapotherm • Strict attendance policy: more than two missed shifts per 13-week contract may result in cancellation Facility: This long-term acute care hospital specializes in providing comprehensive restorative care services for patients requiring extended medical treatment.
