Job Description Job Description Summary The Champions Center for Special Children is searching for a qualified, experienced full-time RN available to work 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday with medically complex children. Duties -Medication passes -Multiple G-tube feedings with flushes (must be familiar with different pumps and Bolus/Gravity method) -Medication counts -Communications with doctors, parents, and staff including education -Seizure monitoring -Emergency response when needed -General First Aid -MAR reporting -Accurate record keeping -Ability to lift 50 pounds at times Requirements -Active nursing license -Pediatric experience preferred -Experience with G-tubes preferred -Medical knowledge and terminology of pediatric genetic diseases and medical complexities preferred -Ability to research and find answers to medical questions when needed -Excellent communication skills -Patience -Ability to work with staff members in the best care for child -Ability to take charge and manage nursing care and exclusion -Ability to stay up-to-date on most recent data related to COVID and Influenza
