working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Ortho RN
in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103! Job Title: Registered

Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in
orthopedic nursing License: Active nursing license required
Certifications: BCLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: -
Orthopedic nursing experience - Epic charting experience - IV
skills Description: This position requires experienced orthopedic
nurses. Nurses will work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include managing postoperative care and pain
management for orthopedic and neuro spine patients. Nurses may be
required to float to different units based on staffing needs.
Weekend work obligation is every other weekend. Nurses must be
customer service-oriented. The average daily census is
approximately 37 patients. The staffing ratio is expected to be 5-6
patients per nurse, potentially flexing to 7 in extreme
circumstances. Nurses must be prepared to handle multiple pain
medications due to the high post-surgical population. Candidates
should be comfortable with a fast-paced healthcare setting. All
