Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse

Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years,
including 1 year of direct MedSurg experience. License: Must hold a
valid nursing license. Certifications: Required - BCLS, NIH, NIHSS;
ACLS preferred. Must-Have: Must have MedSurg experience. Must have
experience with IV start, telemetry, interpretation, and management
of dysrhythmias. Must have experience caring for stroke and other
neuroscience patients. Must have training for floating to other
MedSurg areas. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and
must not be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO
could lead to cancellations and DNRs. Unit accepts contracts for 13
weeks. Unit requires nurses to work every other weekend. Patient
ratios are 1:6. Travelers required to float to other MedSurg areas,
including COVID care units. Must complete EKG Testing prior to
starting. Frequent floating may be required based on census and
skill sets. Candidates are expected to make up any missed weekend
shifts based on unit needs. Unit primarily cares for stroke
patients along with various neuro diagnoses. The unit has a
four-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. Daily census is approximately 42
patients. Unit uses PYXIS and EPIC for patient management.
Candidates must work two out of three major holidays. No RTO is
allowed during the first week of assignment due to orientation.
Candidates should be comfortable floating with no restrictions or
special requests. Travel pairs are permitted but must work on
different units. Charting experience with Epic is required. Two
manager or supervisor references from the past 12 months are
preferred. Travelers cannot work more than five consecutive days or
exceed 60 hours a week. Modules must be completed pre-start and
