Monitor Tech Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Compunnel Healthcare Pay: $18 to $21 per hour Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Previous travel experience working in remote monitoring Telemetry competent Be able to pass basic cardiac rhythm test Need to be able to analyze and interpret heart rhythms Good attendance record Write and understand English Must be able to type proficiently Basic computer knowledge Basic knowledge of how to operate an iPhone Ability to monitor high volume of patients and maintain calm during stressful situations Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. CNA background Cardiac nursing background Medical terminology background ECG-Board Certified Previous GE monitoring experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Analyzes and interpret heart rhythms Building end of shift reports within the GE Carescape system Add and discharge patients from the GE Carescape system Communicate to floor staff by desktop phone Communicate to floor staff using iPhone application Keep a running call log Multi-tasking skills
