Job Description Nocturnist Physician (Internal Medicine/Family
Medicine) - Statesville, NC Job Type: Full Time Shifts: 7on/7off
(7PM-7AM) Responsibilities: Work a consistent 7 on/7 off schedule,
covering night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM Receive assistance from an
Advanced Practice Provider (APP) from 7 PM to 3 AM. Manage an
average of 8 admissions per shift and handle cross-cover
responsibilities Be responsible for managing rapid responses and
codes Focus on patient care without the need to perform procedures
Work in an open ICU setting Contribute to the care of a hospital
with an average total census of 120 patients. Qualifications/
Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family
Medicine. 2 years of experience is required. Valid medical license
to practice in NC. Excellent clinical skills with a focus on
patient-centered care. Ability to work effectively in a team
environment and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
