Immediate Need! Start ASAP! We are seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to join a local hospital in Lenoir, NC . This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient health and wellness through personalized nutrition care. Location : Lenoir, NC Role Type : Onsite & Remote Schedule : Onsite Mondays (approx. 5-8 hours) and PTO coverage; Remote on-call weekend coverage (approx. 2-3 hours if needed) Pay Rate : $37.96/hr Start Date : Immediate Employment Type : Temporary Assignment Duration : Approximately 3 months Key Responsibilities • Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans. • Provide one-on-one and group nutrition counseling to support disease management and recovery. • Implement evidence-based nutrition interventions for diverse patient populations. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care. • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. • Support program development and contribute to account revenue and operating profit. • Uphold organizational mission, values, and service standards through clinical excellence. What We’re Looking For: • Current, up-to-date resume required. • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field. • Registered Dietitian credential (RD/RDN) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration. • Experience in outpatient counseling or clinical nutrition preferred. • Strong communication, organizational, and business acumen. • Ability to meet compliance requirements including drug screen, background check, and immunizations/tests (MMR, flu, TB).
