Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed
Practical Nurse (LPN) specialized in Spine and Trauma to join our
committed team. Our LPNs play a critical role in providing
high-quality, patient-centered care in our spine and trauma unit. A
successful candidate will be instrumental in patient recovery and
education, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to
administer medications, manage wound care, and monitor patient
progress. This role demands a compassionate approach, a high level
of technical skill, and an ongoing commitment to patient health.
Administer medications and document therapeutic effects. Take vital
signs, apply dressings, and prepare patient treatment rooms for
examinations. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in
patients' conditions. Interact with department physicians to ensure
patient well-being. Educate patients and their families on disease
prevention and health maintenance. Assist in the set-up of
ventilation, monitoring and other treatment procedures. Proficient
in clinical skills applicable to nursing specialty (spine and
trauma) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to
work effectively in a high-pressure environment Excellent
observational and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current LPN license
in the state of employment. CPR certification. In-depth knowledge
of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation,
decontamination etc.)
