ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU -
Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Boone, North
Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU -
Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 -
Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights -
Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work
3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM on weekdays • Up to
2 weekends per month required • 13-week assignment with ASAP start
• Work in standard ICU with potential floating to IMCU and MedSurg
as patient volume requires • Must be very flexible in relation to
floating assignments • ICU patient ratio 1:2 (ratios may vary when
floating) • Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics •
Pediatric patients are not common but candidates must be
comfortable treating them • 2 years of ICU experience required • 2
years of travel experience required • Required certifications: BLS,
ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (all AHA certified) • Must have EPIC EMR
experience and proficiency • Active North Carolina or Multistate
license required • Dress code requires all white or all navy scrubs
• Must reside more than 40 miles from facility • Skills required
include ventilator management, arterial line management, central
line care, IV drip management, dysrhythmia interpretation and
management, continuous IV sedation, titration of vasoactive drips,
BiPAP/CPAP management, ABG interpretation, and isolation
precautions Facility: This medical center operates a comprehensive
intensive care unit providing critical care services for patients
with complex medical needs. The facility utilizes EPIC electronic
medical records and maintains high standards for patient care with
specialized equipment and interdisciplinary support. The ICU
follows established clinical protocols and provides advanced life
support capabilities including ventilator management, hemodynamic
monitoring, and specialized cardiac care. Location: Boone, NC Boone
offers a beautiful mountain setting in the Blue Ridge Mountains of
North Carolina, providing excellent outdoor recreation
opportunities year-round including hiking, skiing, and scenic
