HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Neurological Surgery Intensive Care Unit (NSICU) to join our team. This position involves providing top-tier medical care as part of a leading healthcare services provider committed to enhancing patient outcomes. Operating within our extensive network of hospitals and healthcare facilities, this role demands the highest level of care for patients experiencing severe neurological issues, including close monitoring and complex assessment capabilities. Monitor patient condition and assess their long-term and immediate needs to ensure proper neurological health management. Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and other healthcare professionals to plan, manage, and assess patient treatments. Implement and develop patient care plans and document patient progress. Administer medication, interpret patient information and make critical decisions regarding needed actions. Counsel patients and their families on treatment plans and neurological health maintenance. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards while maintaining patient confidentiality. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Excellent inter-personal and communication skills. Proficient in using healthcare software and systems. Critical thinking abilities and capability to work under pressure. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Certification in Neurological Care (CNRN) or similar is preferred.
