Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Psych Registered Nurse
(RN) to join our Adult West unit, providing compassionate mental
health care. In this role, you'll work in a dynamic team
environment within a reputable healthcare network known for its
commitment to patient-centered care and vast resources across
nearly 2,000 sites of care. This position offers the opportunity to
impact the lives of patients and their families directly,
implementing customized care plans and working closely with a team
of healthcare professionals. Provide direct nursing care in
accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of
the healthcare organization. Perform comprehensive patient
assessments, identifying and addressing potential mental health
issues. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and
monitor for effectiveness and side effects. Create and maintain
accurate patient records, adhering to confidentiality regulations.
Coordinate with healthcare team members to facilitate holistic care
tailored to the patient's unique conditions and needs. Educate
patients and their families about mental health conditions and
wellness strategies. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
to review cases and update treatment plans based on patient
progress. Strong psychiatric and clinical assessment skills
Proficiency in handling severe mental health cases Ability to
maintain a compassionate and supportive demeanor Excellent verbal
and written communication Effective crisis intervention techniques
Skillful in multidisciplinary teamwork Medical Insurance Dental

nurse license in the state of practice CPR certification
Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing certification (PMH-BC)
