Job Description:

dedicated team of pediatric specialists, delivering individualized,

best outcomes. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to
pediatric patients based on the application of scientific nursing
principles. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as
appropriate using computerized documentation systems. Administer
medications accurately, observing patient response, as evidenced by
documentation in the medical record and lack of negative outcomes.
Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of patients.
Interpret diagnostic tests, and intervene in emergent healthcare
issues, stabilizing patients until physician can be contacted.
Participate in developmental opportunities and in-service training.
Prepare, update, and disseminate patient care plans. Strong
clinical skills in a pediatric intensive care unit Ability to
operate complex medical machinery Superb decision-making and
communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification Critical Care
Registered Nurse (CCRN) - Pediatric certification preferred
