Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Lenoir, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/27/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in a hospital setting /n• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process /n• One year of nursing experience required /n• Previous telemetry experience preferred /n• North Carolina RN license required /n• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC) required /n• Nursing diploma, ADN, or ASN from accredited school required; BSN or MSN preferred /n• Assess patient physical, psychosocial, educational and safety needs /n• Perform bedside point of care testing as required /n• Organize and prioritize care according to patient/family needs /n• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for patient care evaluation /n• Participate in patient education and discharge planning /n• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex medical problems /n• Participate in professional development and unit performance improvement activities /n• Must be proficient in English (read, write, speak) /n• Utilize healthcare organization standards, policies and procedures in care delivery /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization is a leading academic medical center that provides comprehensive patient care services throughout the region.
