Registered Nurse (RN) | Mother Baby Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,801 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Post Partum/Mom Baby Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: - Mother Baby experience Description: Mission Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Post Partum/Mom Baby specialty. This unit consists of 34 private couplet rooms. The staff includes a team of 78, with 1 charge nurse, 11 RNs, and 1 PCT/secretary during the day shift. The night shift features similar staffing levels. Patient ratios are 1:3-4 couplets. Equipment used on the unit includes Alaris pumps and bilirubin blankets/lights. The electronic medical record system is Cerner. Candidates with travel experience and those who have cared for patients on magnesium sulfate post-delivery are preferred. STABLE certification is also beneficial. This role requires a team player who enjoys teaching. Weekend shifts are required, with no on-call shifts.
