Atrium Health Union provides exceptional care for both moms and babies, supported by the renowned Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital, which boasts eight U.S. News & World Report-ranked pediatric specialties, including neonatology. Their state-of-the-art Women and Children's Center offers custom-designed suites for postpartum recovery. Specialized care includes a well-baby nursery and a Special Care Nursery for babies needing medical monitoring, staffed by board-certified neonatologists and equipped with advanced ventilation and isolettes. Pediatric hospitalists affiliated with Levine Children's Hospital are available to ensure comprehensive care. Atrium Health Union emphasizes a family-centered environment, encouraging rooming-in and providing lactation support, along with various childbirth preparation and infant safety classes. Atrium Health Union currently sees approximately 1,400 annual deliveries. Monroe , located in Union County, is approximately 25 miles southeast of Charlotte.
