Mission Health is excited to welcome experienced trauma physician assistants to join our team in Asheville, North Carolina. Qualified Candidates: • Completion of an accredited physician assistant program with appropriate certification exams • Requires experience as a practicing PA in a hospitalist, trauma or surgery setting • Experience with autonomy re: admitting, resuscitating, and rounding on patients Highlights: • Work with a large, stable and established group of surgeons • Surgical Resident interaction and support on trauma; surgical critical care • 100% inpatient • Minimum 6 shifts required per two-week pay period • Day, night and float shifts required • Shift incentives available for exceeding minimum shift requirement • Limited OR time, with ample opportunity to perform procedures in trauma bay and on floor Incentive/Benefit Package: • This is an employed position with HCA Healthcare • Competitive compensation driven by MGMA data and industry benchmarking • Robust health and wellness benefit offerings; health, dental, vision & pharmacy, etc. • 401k plan with a 100% match on 3% to 9% of pay (based on years of service) • Employee Stock Purchase program with 10% off HCA Healthcare stock • Paid Time Off (PTO) Accrual • CME allowance
