DETAILS: 151-bed community hospital with two CT scanners located in
close proximity to the Emergency department. The HMC CT department
performs a variety of exams to include but is not limited to
general scans, biopsies/drains, cardiac imaging, radiation
treatment planning, and scans for research.SPECIAL EQUIPMENT:
Siemens 128 Definition and Siemens Force 256UNIT SYSTEMS: EPICUNIT
ORIENTATION: Approx 64 hours - 3 days - Corporate and 1 week -
Facility/Precepted; Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be
available for classes each day.SCHEDULE: WEEKEND MIDS: SATURDAY,
SUNDAY & MONDAYThe expected start date is based on Novant s

~100/day Special Procedures/Unit Details : 191 bed community
hospital with two CT scanners located in close proximity to the
Emergency department. The HMC CT department performs a variety of
exams to include but is not limited to general scans,
biopsies/drains, cardiac imaging, radiation treatment planning, and
scans for research. The department is currently under construction
and has a fixed Siemens Definition 128 and a mobile GE Optima 64
slice scanner. The candidate is required to be fully vaccinated.
Special Equipment : Transcribed 03.21.24 gm Tier2 Travel Compliance
Candidate must go into the lab within 48 hours after signing. All
testing must be completed within 48 hours. Submission Process : All
units are utilizing Clinical for direct profile review Submission
Details : Any previous PERM / PRN / EP staff employee of Novant
Health or New Hanover must wait 12 months before applying as a
traveler. Please note in the submission packet if your candidate
previously worked here, the hospital name and dates of employment.
Facility rehire approval is needed. We cannot proceed with any
offer until rehire approval is obtained. Failure to disclose this
information will negatively impact your candidate and may result in
a cancel. Novant runs their own check on each traveler upon hiring,
so we need to notify them beforehand. Current travel Per Diem
clinicians at Novant Health or New Hanover are ineligible for
travel assignments. Working both simultaneously is not accepted.
