Job Description Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently
looking for a Telecom Analyst (Network Engineer) on a W-2 contract
for one of its clients This is a W2 contract opportunity, and the
candidates should be willing to work on our W2 ONLY, NO C2C.
Telecom Analyst (Network Engineer) Location: Charlotte, NC Type:
W-2 Contract – 12 months Schedule: Hybrid-3 days onsite Top skills
needed: This position is responsible for the design,
implementation, testing and documentation of complex data network
solutions. This position requires a thorough understanding of
TCP/IP, routing, switching and various Cisco Products. Description:
o Plan, design, test, implement and continue improvement of
enterprise network solutions. o Configuration of Cisco IOS
configurations, testing and implementation of new network hardware
devices (routers and switches.) into the existing network
infrastructure. o Maintain accurate diagrams and configurations for
all network devices. o Prepare engineering job packages consisting
of detailed parts / equipment lists, and appropriate documentation
(drawings, network diagrams, configurations, etc.). o Ensure cost
effective design of systems with the ultimate goal of meeting
business needs and providing a reliable and efficient service to
the user. o Prepare and submit cost estimates for planned
installations where required. o Maintain familiarity with current
networking technologies and available facilities. o Procure,
turn-up, and troubleshoot both private and public WAN circuits. o
Work across the IT organization to provide end to end solutions to
the customer. Minimum Qualifications o Minimum of 5 - 7 years of
experience in Information Technology with at least five years of
design and support of Cisco Systems’ products. o Understanding of
communication technology and fundamentals. o Ability to work well
within a team, good interpersonal relational skills. o Effective
verbal & written communication. o Experience in coordination with
multiple groups, companies, and people simultaneously. o
Demonstrated ability to work productively with little direct
supervision. o Demonstrated organizational and time management
skills o Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks. o Strong
interpersonal skills to support successful performance in a team
environment Desired Qualifications: o Cisco Certifications CCNA,
CCDA desired. CCNP, CCDP, CCIE preferred. o Experience with network
hardware/software solutions: Cisco routers and switches, Cisco ACS,
Cisco wireless controllers and APs and Cisco VPN concentrators. o
Experience in the following technology areas: TCP/IP, Cisco IOS,
Layer 3 Switching, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, GRE, HSRP, GLBP, IPSEC, SSL,
AAA, SNMP “Beware of scams. S3 never asks for money during its
