Job Description AWS Software Engineer Charlotte, NC We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable cloud-based solutions. This role requires strong Python expertise and experience working within AWS environments. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and comfortable owning complex technical initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain high-quality solutions using Python, Angular, or Terraform with AWS infrastructure Perform code reviews and promote secure coding standards and best practices Design and execute testing strategies; debug issues across distributed systems Build proofs of concept and identify system improvements Collaborate with team leads and product owners to deliver product vision Required Qualifications: Proficiency in Python is required, along with experience in at least one of the following: Github, Terraform AWS services Excellent communication skills, including the ability to give and receive constructive criticism Excellent documentation skills, within code and without Proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to ask questions when needed Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Git / GitHub / GitHub Actions Experience with Lambda / API Gateway / Dynamo DB Kafka, Data Fabric experience Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field OR 5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer in lieu of a degree
