Job Description:
TSH & CO, a leading freight shipping and trucking company in the
Southeastern USA, is seeking highly motivated and independent Owner
Operator Drivers to join our logistics team. We specialize in
delivering custom logistics solutions, ensuring safe and prompt
delivery of freight across various locations. As an Owner Operator
Driver, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the efficacy
and reliability of our services, operating under self-management to
transport goods efficiently. This role requires a robust
understanding of industry standards, a commitment to safety, and
excellent time management skills. Safely operate your vehicle to
transport goods to various locations within scheduled timelines.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform
preventative maintenance. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with
company policies and procedures. Manage documentation of orders,
logs, and delivery times. Review freight bills and payments.
Maintain communication with the central dispatch team for all
deliveries and issues. Proficiency in GPS and route management
tools. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to
drive long hours and travel regularly. Extensive knowledge of
applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Adaptability and
foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather
conditions etc.) Valid truck driving license (Class A CDL). Must
own a truck that meets company and industry standards. Clean
driving record.
