Job Description Job Description We are looking for a
detail-oriented Material Control Analyst to join our team in
Richburg, South Carolina. In this long-term contract position, you
will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate management of
inventory and smooth material flow to support production processes.
This role requires working directly on the warehouse floor, often
around heavy machinery, to maintain operational efficiency and
inventory accuracy. Responsibilities: • Generate and update
material control reports to provide accurate inventory information.
• Maintain and update the inventory management system to track part
numbers and adjustments. • Monitor and record inventory
adjustments, including cycle count results. • Assign storage
locations in inventory for incoming materials and oversee
part-to-part transfers. • Investigate and resolve errors related to
inventory discrepancies and location assignments. • Support and
participate in internal and external material audits to ensure
compliance. • Collaborate with teams to uphold health, safety,
quality, and lean initiatives. • Perform duties with precision and
attention to detail to maintain high inventory accuracy. • Assist
with additional operational tasks as directed by supervisors or
managers. • Work in warehouse settings involving heavy machinery
while adhering to safety protocols.• Proven experience in inventory
management and material control processes. • Familiarity with
inventory tracking systems and cycle counting procedures. • Strong
analytical skills to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Ability to operate effectively in warehouse environments around
heavy machinery. • Knowledge of assembly lines and material flow
processes. • Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance with
health and safety regulations. • Excellent attention to detail and
organizational skills. • Ability to support audits and maintain
accurate documentation.
