Job Description Job Description Openwork is seeking a reliable
and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing
team. In this role, you'll be responsible for assembling parts and
subassemblies, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean
and safe work environment. This position requires strong attention
to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work
effectively in a team setting. Responsibilities: Assemble
components and subassemblies using hand tools or machinery Read and
interpret schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions
Position and align parts accurately based on measurements or
templates Perform quality control checks to ensure components meet
specifications Troubleshoot and resolve basic assembly issues
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including tools and
equipment Prepare materials and workstations by reviewing part
lists and gathering necessary tools Document production progress
and complete quality forms Follow all safety procedures, company
rules, and guidelines Monitor inventory levels and report low
supplies as needed Assist in multiple assembly areas as needed
based on production demands Qualifications: High school diploma,
GED, or 1–3 months of related experience preferred Ability to
speak, read, and understand English Basic math skills: able to add,
subtract, multiply, and divide Comfortable using standard hand
tools No certifications or licenses required Skills & Abilities:
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Good dexterity and
hand-eye coordination Ability to work well both independently and
as part of a team Commitment to maintaining safety and quality
standards Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, bend,
kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the shift Frequent use of hands
to handle small components and tools Must be able to lift and carry
up to 20 lbs regularly Visual requirements include close vision,
color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception Work
Environment: Exposure to moving mechanical parts and equipment Loud
noise levels are typical in the production area Fast-paced and
team-oriented environment Note: This job description is intended to
