Job Description:

Our office in Hickory, NC is looking to hire an additional team member with dental insurance claims and front office duties. Our office currently has 7 employees, 1 doctor, 2 hygienists, 2 assistants, and 2 front office. We are looking for someone who wants to join a fresh and new dental environment with an awesome doctor and great team!


* Must have at least 1 year dental specific experience (front desk, insurance coordinator, financial coordinator, office manager), must be trustworthy, friendly, and knowledgeable about dental insurance. Must have a good attitude and be willing to learn and grow!
* Must have dental specific office experience and dental software experience (Open Dental, Dentrix, EagleSoft). This position requires an extensive knowledge of dentistry with attention to detail, someone who can problem solve, multi-task and is a self starter. We have a wonderful team and a great morale and we are hoping to add someone who shares that mentality. We offer PTO, vacation days, and other benefits


* Developing insurance estimates and submitting insurance claims
* Following up on insurance claims and collections
* Must be comfortable speaking to patients about money
* Greeting patients
* Answering phones with a smile
* Scheduling


* Pay: $15.00 - $25.00/hr depending on level of experience

* 8AM-5PM alternating M-R and T-F so two 4 day weekends a month. Beginning 01/01/2023 we will be moving to M-W 7:30AM to 6:30PM with 1 Friday a month
* No weekends

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

* Hickory, NC 28602: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
