Job Description:
The Senior Digital Optimization Strategist is a trusted advisor
to our independent grocers, who assesses their needs and develops
digital strategies for commerce, advertising, promotions, and
communications that integrate with their overall marketing
strategy. The Senior Digital Optimization Strategist has a mastery
of email, SMS, web, social media, search, mobile, and digital
advertising strategies, and techniques. The Senior Digital
Optimization Strategist leads in the development of customer
digital strategy, communicates with customers, and collaborates
with adjacent teams on creative development and execution. This
includes overseeing existing campaigns and making recommendations
on how to optimize them via trend analysis and data-driven decision
making.
Serves as digital thought leader,
go-to person, and motivator on cross-functional teams Through data
analysis and experience, develops understanding of and establishes
customer key strategic objectivesTakes a data-driven approach to
ensure strong measurement and quantitative understanding of
customer experience, opportunities, benefits achieved, customer
pain pointsEngages with senior management to define and execute
Digital Marketing Strategy programs as the "trusted advisor" on
omnichannel marketing strategy related topicsProvides tailored
advice and best practices to help customers and vendors implement
digital marketing programs encompassing eCommerce, digital
advertising, brand loyalty, promotions, social media, and email/SMS
communicationsConverts performance findings into presentations with
strategic narratives and conclusions appropriate for all levels of
customer and vendor leadershipLeads customer and vendor
conversations to review Digital Marketing strategies, programs, and
overall marketing campaign effectivenessCollaborates with the
Digital Marketing, Advertising, Category Management, and Business
teams to enhance Marketing strategies, programs, and campaigns to
accelerate our customer's and vendor's business outcomesProvides
guidance to the Data Analytics, Data Integrations, and Data Privacy
teams to support the consistent use of customer and vendor data
across enterprise platformsTrains, mentors, and enables others in
Digital Marketing to provide data insights to customers and vendors
Provides feedback to Omnichannel Platform and Digital Services
teams for innovation and feature improvements
8+ years of experience in Product
Strategy, Sales Strategy, Digital Media Sales/Account Management,
Management Consulting, or equivalent experience in an
organization6+ years of experience with a focus in Digital
Analytics and Optimization - A/B and Multivariate testing across
channels6+ years of experience in delivering metrics and
performance KPIs through data visualization and reporting
technologiesRelevant BA/BS degree in a related field or 6 years of
progressive experienceProven results with planning, execution and
optimization of SEO, social and digital marketing programs, and
initiativesStrong communication and presentation skillsBe versatile
