Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.This position is responsible for a variety of tasks related to warehouse functions including receiving, shipping, material handling, staging, maintaining inventories and material movement in a manufacturing environment requiring on-time delivery. Maintains the warehouse/shipping/receiving areas in a safe and orderly fashion. Perform cycle counts timely and in accordance with daily transaction activity. Responsible for operational scrap transactions and any other financial transactions per SOD(segregation of duties). The position works under the direction of the department BU Controller.Your responsibilities

  • ---Receives incoming and ships outgoing materials, products or supplies accurately and promptly.
  • ---Safely loads and unloads trucks, stores materials and moves material to area(s) needed throughout the facility.
  • ---Verifies the quantity and description of materials received or shipped and checks against packing list, recording any discrepancies to help maintain accurate inventory levels and notifies Buyer of any discrepancies.
  • ---Accurately places materials on shelves, in racks or other designated storage areas in an orderly manner.
  • ---Performs inquiries and processes information using various computer business systems, including printing labels, processing shipments, material transfers, cycle count entering, scrap transactions.
  • ---Responsible for physically checking inventory, writing up transactions and maintaining inventory accuracy levels to meet performance standards as established by management.
  • ---Pulls material, assembles and fills orders for both internal and external customers.
  • ---Maintains equipment, vehicles, and work areas in a safe, clean and orderly fashion.
  • ---Disposes of trash, cardboard and scrap in appropriate containers. Performs daily/weekly 5S requirements.
  • ---Assist Packout area as needed as well as performs all other duties as assigned. Your background
    • Basic Qualifications:
    • ---High School Diploma or GED
    • ---Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
    • ---Good Communication Skills
    • ---Good business acumen
    • ---Intermediate problem solving skills
    • ---Safety and Quality focused --- completes all mandatory Safety and OSHA training
    • Preferred Qualifications:
    • ---Good Computer skills --- Must be able to look up data/information on a computer and complete data entry transactions with TOPs and SAP Torque and ERP/LX.
    • ---Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos/emails
    • ---Must be able to safety operate and/or be certified as required in using equipment such as forklift truck, electric pallet lift, hand truck, air bag machine, stretch wrap machine, banding equipment, and other material movement equipment.
    • ---Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
    • ---Flexibility to work overtime and various work schedules as needed
