Job DescriptionCarolina Industrial Products is seeking to hire a full-time Batter PM Technician to perform preventative maintenance on industrial forklift batteries and chargers in the field. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BATTERY PM TECHNICIANAs a Battery PM Technician, you are the face of our company. You go out into the field to perform preventative maintenance on industrial forklift batteries and chargers. With your outstanding customer service skills, you keep customers informed about the status of their equipment and let them know if any issues arise for repair. You also communicate with other team members to ensure expert service. Your favorite part of the job is seeing the appreciative smile on each customers face because they have a healthy fleet with no down time!

QUALIFICATIONS

• Mechanical/electrical aptitude
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and DOT physicalElectrical and forklift experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate! Do you have strong communication and interpersonal skills? Are you a customer service rockstar? Do you have exceptional critical thinking skills? Are you able to work independently?   WORK SCHEDULEThe typical schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm.
