Job Description:
A M Supply Co., a premier provider of woodworking equipment and
metals, seeks an experienced Territory Manager to expand and
nurture our customer base in designated areas. This role is pivotal
for driving sales growth and ensuring sustained business by
leveraging our extensive product line and exceptional service
standards. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding
of the metals industry, foster long-term relationships with
customers, and effectively manage sales operations within the
assigned territory. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve
sales targets in the assigned territory. Build and maintain strong,
long-lasting customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and
loyalty. Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being
fully aware of new products and competition status. Negotiate
contracts and close agreements to maximize profits. Collaborate
with the marketing team to identify and grow opportunities within
the territory. Prepare reports on account status and forecast
future sales trends to upper management. Strong knowledge of the
metals and woodworking industries. Proven ability to drive the
sales process from plan to close. Excellent mentoring, coaching,
and people management skills. Strong business sense and industry
expertise. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
